  • Hollands Trefpunt bij Lake Pofianga bij Ponoka, gelegen in de provincie Alberta. We hebben een Vereniging van Nederlandse Agrariers en iedereen die van gezelligheid houdt. Elke laatste zondag van de maand is er een gezellige bijeenkomst voor jong en oud. Er zijn broodjes Ham en Kaas verkrijgbaar, Soep, Sate en Koffie, Thee en Frisdranken. Het doel is een gezellige middag waar men gedachten kan uitwisselen met een smakelijk hapje. Voor de kinderen is er een voetbalveld, speeltuin en een Meer waar je kunt roeien of bootje varen. Ook hebben wij een Nederlands radioprogramma " Holland Signaal" voor jong en oud. De uitzending is elke zondagmiddag van 12 tot 2 op KJR 1440 AM

    Red Deer Alberta has a Dutch club since 1987. We are small but we have our own club house and are for a small club active. We work a bingo every month which gives us money to operate from. Most of the members are now at the retirement age and play billiards Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, and Monday the ladies have craft night.
