De Hollandse Jonkies is een groep van ongeveer 100
Vlaamse en Nederlandse gezinnen die gezamelijk verschillende feesten vieren, waaronder Sinterklaasfeest, een Nieuwjaarsinstuif, Koninginnedag en een jaarlijkse barbeque. Daarnaast worden er uitjes georganiseerd, koffieochtenden gehouden en meiden-night-outs geregeld.
Iedereen is van harte welkom, jong en oud, Vlamingen en Hollanders, maar ook (aangetrouwde of geinteresseerde) Amerikanen.

The "Dutch American Heritage Club" has been in existence for the last 6 years.
We have monthly dinners together at a local restaurant. Also big events are scheduled such as Koninginnedag
and Sinterklaas. We have boerenkool stamppot dinners with a cultural night - Rien Poortvliet, Johannes Vermeer,
Ot en Sien avond, etc. No dues.

Netherlands American Society of the Rockies, a
social organization in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. Members
are mostly people who were born in the Netherlands, who want to expose
themselves and their families to some Dutch customs. We have about eight
events each year, like celebrating Sinterklaas, Koninginnedag, and New
Year's day (with olie bollen), as well as Indonesian and Dutch pot-luck
dinners.

De Boekenwurm, Minnesota's Saturday Dutch Language School
For children ages 4 to 14 years. Also has playgroups for children ages 0 to 3 years and their
parents. De Boekenwurm opened its doors for classes September 2002. The school is sponsored by
het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschappen (NL) with guidance from Stichting NOB.
The purpose of the school is to help Dutch-speaking children temporarily living abroad keep
current with their peers; to help Dutch-speaking children now living in Minnesota keep their
language and culture; to provide language and cultural instruction to children interested in
their Dutch/Flemish heritage; and to have lots of fun doing the above!
