- Groningen - around 1830 -
The Province of Groningen can claim a very special treasure, the Dutch costume museum 'De Gouden Leeuw'.
Established in a former historic tavern and inn in Noordhorn, it is dedicated to the traditional dress including the
casque or helmet-shaped head covering of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe.
